Today is a momentous day at the Douglas Fir Resort and Chalets as we prepare for the exciting renovations on our giant indoor waterslides. Today we begin the process of moving everything out of the waterslides before the sandblasters move in! Preparation for the renovations is hard work in itself, but luckily we have some great Douglas Fir Resort staff on hand to make it light work.
The next 6 weeks will see the removal of the current waterslides, which have seen over 25 years of good use and great service, and the installation of two brand new, brightly coloured slides ready for use December 17th 2011. We recommend that you start lining up now!
Not only that, but we are bringing you a large outdoor hot tub for the winter! After a long day on the slopes or in the shops, you’ll be able to rest your weary legs and soak up some steam whilst overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The large outdoor hot tub is anticipated for early 2012 so watch this space!
