The Douglas Fir is Sprucing Up!

We are very excited to announce the renovations the Douglas Fir Resort is about to undergo this fall!
Famous for having the only waterslides in Banff, we decided that we are in need of a spruce up! So what better way to do it than to bring you two brand new Waterslides! Not only that, but we will also be building a large Outdoor Hot Tub for you to enjoy year round!
This does mean that we will have to close our world famous* waterslides and fitness room between October 25th and December 16th while we make these improvements for you. For any guests staying between these dates look for our special Sprucing Up rate; 25% discount off the rack rate of your room, while still enjoying our Giant Indoor Playzone, Private Guest Pool, Sauna, Private Indoor Guest Hot Tub and Outdoor Barbeques.
Our grand re-opening is scheduled for December 17th, 2011 at 2pm. Don’t forget your towel to be the first one down the slides!
