Why do I love working at the Douglas Fir Resort? Because of the warm, welcoming feeling when you arrive. Because it feels like a home away from home for guests and staff alike. But most of all, I love working at the Douglas Fir Resort because it takes me back to my youth.

With an office located on-route to our playzone, I am often privileged to hear the laughter and giggles of our ‘little’ guests, gushing with excitement –for a child, there are few things more fun than shimmying up and down a giant Fir tree!


The Douglas Fir Resort’s giant indoor playzone is a new interactive structure, measuring over two storeys in height and 36 feet in length. Being Western Canada's largest hotel indoor playground, the playzone is a bit hit with the kids and Mom and Dad too!



So come, relax and read the newspaper while the kids climb, slide and explore at the Douglas Fir Resort’s magical playzone.
