Stay, Ski and Play!

ShareThis

Spring may be fast approaching, however Banff continues on as a picture perfect winter wonderland and a haven for skiers and snowboarders alike.  Starting off 2011 with 167 cms of fresh snow in January, Banff is experiencing its best snow conditions in 5 years.

Bright blue skies between the snow storms and mild temperatures have produced amazing conditions for skiers and riders at Mt. Norquay, The Lake Louise Ski Area and Sunshine Village.  Plus, there’s plenty of time left to enjoy it with three and a half months of skiing still to go in Canada’s Protected Playground, Banff National Park.

So if you and your family have yet to enjoy your winter ski vacation it is not too late, there is plenty of snow left in this beautiful alpine town and  the Douglas Fir Resort has many fabulous ski packages available!
