It's official...winter is here.  Driving from the Calgary airport back to my beautiful hometown of Banff in a full out snowstorm on Monday night was a sure sign of things to come.  SNOW!  Good thing I've got my snow tires on and my skis tuned up.
The Lake Louise Ski Area has been open for over a week, Banff Mount Norquay is open for weekend skiing and Sunshine Village is opening up on Friday - so get your snow tires on and your skis and boards tuned up and take a drive out to Banff.  It's a winter wonderland right now!  For great getaway ideas, check out our package page at  www.douglasfir.com/packages
